Description
As our tool business was growing rapidly, we contacted Atlanta Commercial Display Vans to build a medium sized custom truck with an incredible amount of display space and flexibility. We had a ton of ideas regarding the layout and they executed our wishes to a "T".

This 18-ft Freightliner MT-45 was one of the first step vans to have an L-shaped stand-up desk. It's a great set-up for getting the work done. This truck was specifically designed to handle a very large inventory.

For maximum versatility, The interior is quickly customized. If you keep the dividing bulkhead in place, you have a cozy interior with a velcro active display panel. If you pull the pins on the bulkhead and remove it (2 minutes) you have an awesome open floor plan.

With the bulkhead out, your customers can touch the tool box as they enter the store. The tool box handle can act as a grab bar as they enter the truck. The main tool box opening is huge. I've displayed 6631Rs with hutches on this truck a bunch of times. Boxes that are 87+ inches wide and 31+ inches deep will display nicely for you.

The shelving is also easy to set-up to your specific needs. In addition to the large semi-fixed shelving (4 and 5 per side), the large front tool box opening has two big adjustable shelves that can be moved out of the way for tall boxes or installed to your liking for high value items (like scan tools) and/or moved. To the front of those large shelves are three smaller adjustable shelves that can be installed for smaller items or removed entirely for velcro'd items and/or a gigantic toolbox display space.

For additional tool box or equipment space, both sides in the rear of the truck have removable shelving to accommodate another tall tool box (driver's side) and a cart or equipment (passenger side).

Recent updates include 100% LED lighting in the store, new black-dot flooring, and upgraded suspension components.

There's an huge amount of air tool hangers (fittings) running over each side of the isle. You get a very respectable chisel rack overhead and an amazing hammer rack with integral vise pad and repair station.

The Detroit Diesel MBE900 Power plant is surprisingly powerful and very economical at the fuel pump. The entire truck has received very good care and should offer a very good platform for your business.

Maintenance items performed within the last year include: New main starting batteries (2), AC drier and hoses, rear shocks and rear wheel seal, belt, tensioner and Idler.

Additional maintenance performed within the past two years include: Deep cycle battery replacement (2), new front shocks and leaf springs, alternator, lift gate service (with new chains installed), alison transmission service (Filter/Fluid), Cylinder Head Gasket R&R (replaced to fix a very small external coolant leak), cylinder head magnafluxed and leak checked good. Reassembled engine to MB Specifications with genuine parts.

The truck runs and drives great. This baby is ready to fill with tools and go to work. The AC system was just serviced, and blows cold air.

It passed it's Maine commercial inspection in June 2019. Good now until Summer 2020.

Shoot me a message with any questions you may have. Thanks for looking.
