This was my second truck, I bought it new. In NJ the DOT is very strict on weight, so I specially ordered this HD 18' with a 23,500 GVW. It also has 22.5" tires. This truck will legally carry 4,000 - 4,500 lbs more than the Freightliner MT45. I always had a full inventory and the total weight never approached the actual GVW, the chassis was never under any stress.

Loaded with extra's. 2 roof mounted Dometic A/C units plus 5500 watt generator. No need to sit and idle to keep the air going in the rear. There is a separate Driver AC that runs off the engine. When I was alone in the truck the driver AC alone kept me comfortable while I was traveling to and from my route.

In an age of aluminum shelving, this Workhorse has the Traditional oak interior with drawers under shelves on both sides. Oak hammer rack with repair center 5' down curb side. Large storage shelf lower rear drivers side. L desk with file cabinet and printer cutout. Two knife displays plus diagnostic and cordless displays. 24" monitor over desk.

Always serviced and maintained. I am a former shop owner and tech myself. I probably changed the oil more often than needed, but oil is inexpensive, engines are not. I used Mobil One synthetic oil from day one. New spin-on filter on the Allison every time I serviced it. All six house batteries just replaced, truck batteries about two years old.

Generator just serviced and ready for A/C season. I went ahead and removed the generator and changed the drive belt too.

Everything on this truck works as it should. You could literally drive it home, load it, and go sell tools without doing a thing to it. My truck is the cleanest around, always ready to go. Retiring after twenty years with Snap-on. Available now.
