The Gas Step Van is BACK! Available now is the 2010 Workhorse W62 model. 16' Utilimaster body, 310 h.p. 8.1 liter Chevrolet engine and Allison automatic transmission. This Workhorse chassis is also used for motorhomes, so there it has plenty of power, too.
Remember the old P30 with a gas 350? These will make you forget all about them! The W62 is a heavier truck than the 1999 - 2001 Workhorse you saw when Chevrolet sold the step van line to Workhorse, and it's not a warmed-over P30. With a GVW rating of 19,500 it's sure to hold all the tools you can load into it. And for $$$ thousands less than a Freightliner step van with a diesel engine. The Workhorse with the gas engine is quiet when driving or idling, and with it's power it's fun to drive. Besides the rooftop AC powered by generator, tt also comes equipped with Engine driven dash air to keep you comfortable! Yes, you heard right.
For AC, you have more options. You can get it with an additional compressor and overhead evaporator or generator and roof a/c. Price as shown includes hot water heater as standard equipment, and it can be upgraded for a small charge to propane.
