This is a 2004 Freightliner MT45 that was first put in service brand new in 2005. Step Vans change very little over each model year so I have always considered it a 2005 model. It is also pre-emissions, which first came out in 2007 with a catalytic converter added to diesel engines. I have checked around, and this same truck as a 2009 with the new diesel engine is about $110,000. Makes this one even sweeter.
Great truck for a starter or someone who would like
to upgrade. I am becoming a District Manager and that is the
only reason I'm selling the truck. The truck was my fathers
before I became a distributor and I purchased it from him.
There
are 6-month old Michelin snows on the rear and there are 2-month
old Michelin steers on the front. Brakes all around were done
7 months ago. All oil changes done at 5k miles or less and records
are available for all maintenance. All maintenance was done
by same shop when my father owned it as well as with myself
being the owner. New stainless steel exhaust 7 months ago. Added
heavy rubber flooring with soft pad underneath for all day comfort.
